For a few fun-filled seasons I documented musicians and colorful attendees through infomal portraiture at the Lake Eden Arts Festival just outside of Asheville in Black Mountain, North Carolina. Below are just a tiny fraction of some of the amazing characters I pulled in from the audience to be photographed in my backstage portrait tent.
The images in this collection are a small sampling from a portrait photo project documenting attendees and performers taken backstage during the Lake Eden Arts Festival (L.E.A.F.) in Black Mountain, North Carolina.
All images are lit with a single White Lightning studio flash head fitted with an Elinchrom Rotolux 69 in. Octabox against an Oliphant canvas backdrop or black paper backdrop.
